1. Cosmetic Consultation
We encourage our patients to be an active participant in every step of the process.
Your transformation begins with a cosmetic consultation where you and Dr. Bartolome will discuss what changes you would like to have done with your smile.
2. Comprehensive Exam
Form and Function, as well as health and beauty, are very important to us in smile design. During the comprehensive exam we will have a deeper insight into the health of your mouth and the specific procedures that will be needed to accomplish your cosmetic and oral healthcare goals.
3. Provisional Wax up
Help us design your smile. A digital scan is taken of your mouth. These images are then sent to the dental laboratory and a new smile design is created and printed for you and your approval.
4. Preparation Appointment
After you have approved your provisional design, we will prepare your teeth for your new porcelain restorations. You will leave this appointment in what we call provisional temporaries. These temporaries will look and feel like the final smile design. This gives you an opportunity to test out the new look, feel and function, of your new smile.
5. Provisional Appointment
At the provisional appointment you will have the opportunity to let us know if you want any changes to your smile in regards to color, shape, length, and design of your new smile. We can make those minor changes to your provisional temporaries chairside. So you can instantly see how those changes impact your overall smile design. Once we receive your approval, a new digital scan is taken of your temporaries. This is the new prescription of your smile that will be sent to the laboratory for the processing of your new porcelain restorations.
6. Delivery Appointment

Let us try in your new restorations!
Your delivery appointment will consist of removing your temporaries and trying in your new porcelain restorations. It is very important that I give attention to the word try in. I am dedicated to the design and communication between you and I over the smile design process. I will place the porcelain restorations over your teeth with try in paste, I will then hand you the mirror. Only upon your visual approval of your porcelain will I permanently cement your new restorations. You deserve to give the final approval of your new smile.
